Tom. Thirty-five moons. ThunderClan. Leader.
{{ Appearance.
White is the primary color of Galestar's pelt, and can be seen from his nose to the tip of his tail, not to mention anywhere in between. His legs, stomach, paws, and chest are completely white, as is his left ear. The other ear is dark gray, adding to the asymmetrical pattern of his face. A small spot of gray sits on the left side of his muzzle, and two large patches rest above his eyes. Except for the very end, his tail is completely gray with black stripes running around it. Dark patches with a few cream-colored hairs are scattered unevenly across his back, but, as if a line where drawn, they never stray below his ribs.
With long legs, a narrow face, and a sleek build, Galestar could easily pass for a WindClan warrior. His speed and agility are of much more use to him than his strength, both in battle and when he's hunting. However, this does not mean that he is weak. Years of running in the forest have turned him from a soft, lazy kit into a tough, determined leader. He moves with the fluid grace of a dancer and strikes with the speed and accuracy of an adder. Though not as formidable as some other cats at first glance, underestimation is a deadly thing when up against Galestar. He has no sympathy for those who take his ability to lead for granted.
Now, on to the more obvious features of this unique tom. A bright pink nose, dancing blue-green eyes, and long whiskers give Galestar the appearance of a cat much younger than himself. Perhaps the most identifiable thing about him, the leader's eyes are what most remember after having met him. Most of the time they are light and crystal clear, but in a flash they can become serious and cold as stone. The color of polished jade with a hint of sky blue, his eyes stick out in a crowd like a sore thumb. Oddly enough, you have to go back two generations in Galestar's family before you find eyes such as his; his mother and father's eyes were pale amber in color.
As a final note, there are Galestar's scars. Yes, he has plenty of those, and none were earned before he became a warrior. It wasn't until he moved up in rank and got a big head that he started getting into trouble, and most of this trouble was right in his own camp. The most noticeable scar comes from a fight between him and a warrior who was a few moons older over who should clean out the elders den at a time when apprentices were scarce. With tensions running high at the lack of food and other Clan troubles, tempers quickly flared and Galestar, then Galeswift, got the worst of it. He now bears the evidence in the form of a ragged and torn right ear.
{{ Personality.
Calculating.
Though young and somewhat inexperienced, Galestar never misses a beat. Constantly taking mental notes when he is around other leaders and deputies, he prefers to learn from the mistakes of others rather than making such mistakes himself. This isn't to say that he hasn't messed up a few times, because, of course, no cat is perfect. However, he never makes the same mistake twice and tries to apply the new-found knowledge to other situations in his life. Others usually see him as inquisitive and thoughtful, but this is putting it lightly. Galestar has an incredibly calculating mind that is rarely put to rest.
Immature.
Don't worry, he's not completely a stick in the mud. Actually, Galestar is an incredibly fun-loving, easy-going, and relaxed sort of guy with a great sense of humor. Polite and courteous when around other leaders, he completely lets loose with his wild side once he returns to camp. Some of the elders still roll their eyes behind his back at certain games he plays, but deep down, they do respect him. Still, many question whether or not it is acceptable for a leader to go around having moss-ball-throwing wars with the kits and apprentices.
Peaceful.
When it comes to the other Clans, Galestar likes to stay on peaceful terms at all costs. He has become known for talking his way out of stressful situations and avoiding battles whenever possible. There have been whispers here and there about him being a coward, but these only come from cats who have never seen him in action. Revenge is a very real thing in Galestar's mind, and he won't hesitate to get it if a member of ThunderClan is harmed without reason or is attacked on their own territory. If there is a reason, though, he is quick to punish whoever is at fault and is equally swift in apologizing to the others involved.
Genuine.
A cat of many personalities, Galestar is, above all, genuine. He is deeply sympathetic toward the troubles of others and will not hesitate to let them know he cares, even if they are from another Clan. When in camp and around those he trusts, the tom will let his true colors show through and it becomes clear that he's not the cool, almost stiff character that cats from other Clans often think he is.
