So I wanted to do a small plot. Kind of like Cinderella. The thing is, we'll need plenty of roles. But first, here's the plot:
Once upon a time, there was a widower who became mates with a proud and haughty woman. She had two daughters, who were equally vain. By his first mate, he'd had a beautiful, young daughter, who was a girl of unparalleled goodness and sweet temper. The Stepmother and her daughters forced the first daughter to complete all the housework. The poor girl bore it patiently, but she dared not tell her father, who would have scolded her, since his wife controlled him entirely.
One day, the Prince invited all the young she-cats in the clans to a ball so he could choose a lovely mate. As the two Stepsisters were invited, they gleefully planned their fur. Although Bliss assisted them and dreamed of going to the dance, they taunted her by saying a maid could never attend a ball.
As the sisters swept away to the ball, Bliss cried in despair. Her Fairy Godmother magically appeared and vowed to assist Bliss in attending the ball. She helped groom Bliss's fur, made her smell like the best smelling flowers, and gave her two guards. The Godmother told her to enjoy the ball, but warned that she had to return before midnight; otherwise, her Stepmother would know.
At the ball, the entire court was entranced by Bliss, especially the Prince, who never left her side. Unrecognized by her sisters, Bliss remembered to leave before moonhigh. Bliss graciously thanked her Godmother. She left right before Moonhigh and made it back just in time, carrying freshkill with her as she entered the camp. She then greeted the Stepsisters, who enthusiastically talked of nothing but the beautiful girl at the ball.
When another ball was held the next evening, Bliss again attended with her Godmother's help. The Prince became even more entranced. However, this evening she lost track of time and left only at the final stroke of moonhigh, stepping in mud and leaving a pawprint in her haste. The Prince chased her, but outside the palace, the guards had seen only a simple clan she-cat leave. The Prince built a shelter over the pawprint so it would be protected by the weather and vowed to find and ate with the she-cat to whom it belonged.
The Prince tried the pawprint on all the she-cats in the clans. When the Prince arrived at Bliss's den, the Stepsisters tried in vain to win over the prince. They traveled to the pawprint. When Bliss asked if she might try, the Stepsisters taunted her. Naturally, the pawprint fitted perfectly, and Bliss produced the other slipper for good measure. The Stepsisters begged for forgiveness, and Bliss forgave them for their cruelties.
Bliss returned to the palace, where she became mates with the Prince, and the Stepsisters also married two lords.
