There has been general peace throughout the clans for as long as any cat can remember. Even the elders have no stories to tell of any great battle. They only have the minute border scuffle memories. But everything is changing- and fast.
The leaders of the four clans, Treeclan, Rockclan, Marshclan, and Grassclan are being put under pressure more and more as loners and rogues start showing up. They tell of horror stories happening in the Twoleg world, how the twolegs are capturing cats and never bringing them back. There are many theories to what is going on, some more gruesome than others, but only one thing is known for certain; the differences in these theories are tearing the peace apart. Each leader thinks something different, and warriors can only watch as the crisp, happy rays of peace darken and blur.
With leafbare coming up, tensions rise. Food shortages are surely going to lead to bloodshed, and, to their dismay, Starclan has said nothing. Each cat is certainly entitled to his or her own opinion, but will they speak it aloud?
