every now and then miasma clouds might hold a competition; this is where we'll put polls, messages, etc for those contests! members are also allowed to make polls here. c:
this is where you plan events beforehand. from things like deaths, births, battles, relationships, etc - post them here. you may also set up a mini-plot section and let people build upon your ideas.
here you can set up a character log in any form you want - make it just a recap of your character's recent role play, or you can write it like a blog. we don't care, just as long as it keeps you organized. there is a thread tracker board here as well.
thunderclan's camp is a huge clearing in the middle of the forest. it is surrounded by sharp brambles and various other types of undergrowth to protect it from invaders. dens made of bracken, brambles, and gorse lay scattered throughout the camp, while the fresh-kill pile rests near the camp entrance.
this little hollow near the back of thunderclan's camp serves as a major training area for apprentices. here is where you'll often see apprentices learning new battle techniques or showing off their skill to their mentors.
snakerocks, set under the shadow of the great sycamore, lives up to its name. although its high cliffs provide great homes for prey, cats rarely hunt here, fearing the chances that instead of a rock, they may trip on a snake. apprentices are usually not allowed near snakerocks unless they have a warrior's supervision.
thunderclan's land is made up a huge forest, filled with various types of trees. here, prey runs abundant in summer and spring, while during winter and fall, snow and icy winds create a dwindle in life.
sunningrocks is one of the most disputed pieces of land in thunderclan's territory. riverclan and thunderclan often fight over these huge, flat-topped boulders that provide warmth for those who lay upon them. although it isn't the best place to hunt, it's still a popular place to relax.
riverclan's camp is a peaceful island between two rivers. the island is surrounded by tall trees, and behind the camp hidden by a wall of trees is a twoleg nest where twolegs come to visit most summers. the riverclan camp is not often disturbed by the twolegs, however, and it is well-guarded from intruders.
the waterfront is at the main river near sunningrocks. this is one of the most popular spots for fishing, or even hunting. you might also see a few riverclan cats swimming here. the waterfront also marks the clan's border with thunderclan.
the field is a grassy plain on the northwest part of riverclan's island. its a good place to hunt for land prey or run around to warm up after a nice swim. to the north of the fields is the gorge, a place rarely visited.
the western island is on the other side of a small river that surrounds riverclan's camp. this part of the island also provides good hunting, and marks the border with windclan. it leads to the gorge.
the gorge is an ominous trench. the sound of roaring water echoes from the huge waterfall in its center. the only way to cross the gorge is on the small twoleg bridge. the gorge is an extremely dangerous place; you should never fight or hunt on its edge for fear of falling in.
shadowclan's camp is a clearing surrounded by sparse undergrowth, brambles, and trees. two trees rest at its edge, providing shade from the harsh rays of the sun. a small pond trickles near the entrance.
carrionplace is a rarely visited area within shadowclan territory. it lives up to its name - a square area filled with twoleg trash. the only thing to eat here is leftovers, crowfood, and rats. no one eats food here unless absolutely needed, for diseases are known to be found in the prey.
the thunderpath lays on the brink of shadowclan territory, surrounding it like a river would an island. however, the thunderpath, with its cold, smelly stone floor, is nothing like a river. the thunderpath is feared for the huge monsters that race across its surface.
the plains on shadowclan's territory are near the camp and carrionplace. yellow grass, sparse trees, and prickly bushes make up the plains that eventually become the marshes in the southern parts of the territory.
the marsh is near the thunderpath. water sources closest to the thunderpath are tainted by oil and stone from the disgusting path, but farther in, the water is clean and refreshing. tall grasses surround the ponds; only shadowclan cats are used to the muddy area, with their strong paws and legs.
windclan's camp is in the center of the moor. it is a huge hollow surrounded by bushes from the moor. the only things to shield the cats from the wind are stones and trees. windclan cats prefer to sleep under the stars, and only those who need warmth sleep in burrows.
windclan's main water supply is the shallower part of the gorge, which can be considered a river. it is only dangerous if a cat falls in and can't swim past a strong current (which is very rare, because the river's current is usually calm and slow).
windclan's territory is made up of a huge moorland. there are hills, slopes, and tunnels. spiky undergrowth, rocks, and small trees lay scattered across the sandy ground. windclan mainly hunts rabbits on the moorland, but there are also birds and sometimes mice.
near the windclan camp is a group of burrows; some of these burrows are old badger sets or homes of rabbits that cats sometimes use to sleep in. however, all these holes are joined together to make a tunnel; the tunnel spans all the way under windclan's camp and back.
the farm isn't exactly on windclan territory, but it intersects with it. often avoided because of dogs, the farm is owned by twolegs. farm cats kill off rats and live on an always plentiful supply of mice, but are not allowed to visit clan lands.
fourtrees, the sacred place where cats have held gatherings since the beginnings of the clans. every full moon, all four clans gather under this huge oak with four trunks to share clan news, protected by a truce.
hightstones, a huge cliff, was discovered by the first medicine cats. inside the cliff is mothermouth, a large crystal that glows silver in moonlight. here is where cats may sleep to contact their warrior ancestors, starclan.
treecut place is surrounded by a tall wooden fence. often twoleg monsters are seen here, cutting down trees or chopping wood. it is often loud here, therefore cats do not bother to hurt their ears by visiting here often.
twolegplace is a city, filled with twolegs, dogs, kittypets, and dangerous rogues. no clan cat would find happiness visiting this place. it is dangerous and filled with twoleg poison. the only cats who would live here are rogues and kittypets.

The four Clans - ThunderClan, RiverClan, ShadowClan, and WindClan - have lived in their territory for thousands of years, since the first creators of the Clans were born. Apart from the occasional border skirmish, no troubles have been spotted for quite some time . . . that is, until, the assassins came. No one knows who they are or where they came from, but they’re assassins - cats trained only to have one purpose: kill. Four warriors, one elder, ShadowClan’s deputy, and even WindClan’s leader have been lost to them. Now even some of the warriors are giving up and becoming assassins, killing their own Clanmates. No one can trust each other anymore. Will someone save us from this poison?

by KIBA Hey everyone! First off, I would like to thank Max for giving me the site. I never expected it, but I'll do my best with it. Next, I would like to thank all the faithful members of this site who are still around. You all made it through the small shut down we had and have been supporting me ever since I brought it back up. Speaking of activity, I would like there to be more of it. Leaf and I are currently making plans for the BIG plot. You know, the one with the assassins. Yes, this plot should be starting very soon, so keep your eyes open!
Also, Leaf and I have agreed that we need an Advertising Moderator and other Staff Positions. It would be a great help. The thread containing all this information is in the Announcements board. This year's leaf-fall is not as bad as previous ones. Strong winds lash the lands, but not every day. The sun still pours strong warmth upon the Clans, and prey is not as scarce as usual. It is certain that leaf-bare will not be as bad as its predecessors.

MEDICINE CAT poppyfeather – though tiny and disabled, she almost always has a smile.
STATUS RiverClan, like always, has a great supply of fish. Their river shows no signs of freezing over, and because this leaf-bare will be warmer than most, it most likely won't freeze at all.
LEADER Adderstar – a strict brown tabby tom who speaks his mind.
DEPUTY ivythorn – a mysterious silver she-cat with bright green eyes.
STATUS WindClan's territory lives up to its name this season - strong winds lash across the moor, making the prey hide in their burrows from the cold. Although prey isn't that little in amount, it's still not as bountiful as it used to be.
